HST power car 43096 at the head of the 12.55 Cleethorpes to London (King's Cross) service, at Lincoln Central on Sunday 16 May 1993. This was the last through train from Cleethorpes to London, the service being withdrawn with the new timetable the following day.
	The Class 302 electric units were used on the London, Tilbury & Southend route until their replacement by more modern units. Some units, including 302993 pictured here at Norwich, were converted for parcels use for a few years. 3 July 1993
	Pacer 144016 passes Kirkstall, near Leeds, with the 13.31 Leeds to Skipton on 18 September 1993. The signals have now gone, and the line has been electrified.
	By 1993, the EPB units used on South London suburban services, were starting to be replaced by new 'Networker' trains. 4-EPB unit 5492 stands at Grove Park, with the 13.21 London Cannon Street to Sevenoaks, on 7 August 1993.
	315804 in the bay platform at Romford, with the 15.40 to Upminster on 14 August.
