obtained second-hand from BR's Network SouthEast sector.

Eurostar trains had begun public operation in November 1994,
and service frequencies were gradually increased during 1995. On
Good Friday, 14 April 1995, trains were being diverted via
Maidstone because of engineering works, and 373220 is here
approaching Barming station, near Maidstone, with the 12.31
Brussels - London (Waterloo). |

Merseyrail electric services were extended to Ellesmere Port
in Cheshire in 1994. 508128 awaits departure with the 16.10 to
Liverpool (loop line stations) via Birkenhead, while 150218 in
the other platform will head in the opposite direction as the 16.17
to Liverpool (Lime Street) via Warrington. The date is
15 April 1995. |
