 Addo, Port Elizabeth A herd of elephants gather around a watering hole in the Addo Elephant National Park, near Port Elizabeth, South Africa. The park was set up to protect the herds of elephants which had once roamed wild in this area, but had almost been wiped out by the early 20th century. Today there are about 200 elephants in the park.
