CFR Class 96 at P.O. Aeroport

Desiro unit 96-2052 arriving at P.O. Aeroport station, just outside Bucharest, on 29 September 2011, with the 18.13 Baloteşti to Bucureşti Nord. This very basic halt served the nearby Bucharest Otopeni airport via a minibus connection, until a new line to the airport opened in 2020.

CFR Class 65 at Bucuresti Nord

65-1349 awaits departure from Bucureşti Nord on 30 September 2011, with the 12.13 to Sofia and Istanbul. The Romanian diesel loco will take the train as far as Ruse, Bulgaria.
