1502 "Electra" at Rotterdam Centraal station on the 08.03 Köln - Den Haag, 8 November 1985. These locomotives were formerly British Rail Class EM2 (latterly Class 77), used on passenger trains between Manchester and Sheffield until 1970, when they were sold to Netherlands Railways (NS). They were withdrawn from normal service with NS in 1986.
NS Class 186 in Fyra livery at Amsterdam 186 113 at Amsterdam Centraal with the 18.27 to Breda via the Dutch High Speed Line, on 15 April 2012. The train is in the short-lived Fyra livery used by trains on the HSL until the brand was damaged by poor reliability of the new high-speed trains used on the same route. They now operate as Intercity Direct.
