Most Danish InterCity trains are operated by MF (diesel) and
ER (electric) units, often working in multiple. Here MF units
5051 and 5037, on the 08.38 Københavns Lufthavn - Aalborg,
have just uncoupled from a pair of ER units at Odense on
3 April 2019. |

The ME Class diesel locomotives were introduced in 1981, and
latterly worked regional services on non-electrified routes out
of Copenhagen. This is ME 1528 at Roskilde, working the 16.23
Østerport to Næstved via Køge on 2 April
2019. They were withdrawn from passenger service at the end of
2021. |

Services in the north of Jutland are provided by regional
operator Nordjyske Jernbaner. Their diesel unit Lm609 is seen at
Hjørring on 4 April 2019, awaiting departure with the
10.02 to Hirtshals. |
