Each of the two "entities" in Bosnia & Herzegovina has its own railway company. Železnice Republike Srpske (ŽRS) operates in Republika Srpska; Željeznice Federacije Bosne i Hercegovine (ŽFBH) operates in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

This is actually in Croatia, at the border station of Slavonski Šamac. Bosnian (ŽRS) locomotive 441-529 has just been attached to the single-coach 09.30 Budapest to Sarajevo, on 29 April 2008. This locomotive worked the train as far as Doboj. |
